Medical Tourism in Hungary - Costs

Due to rising medical and dental costs around the world, medical tourists, international travelers and citizens from Western Europe, the United States and even South America are traveling to central and Eastern European countries such as Hungary for affordable yet superlative medical care and treatment.

Prices, like anywhere else, vary from clinic to clinic.
Anyway, here are some average prices: full facelift - $3,200, rhinoplasty - $2,100, breast enlargement / augmentation - $2,500, single area liposuction - $1000, tummy tuck - $US2,700.

A good standard of English is spoken at all private clinics which pitch themselves to international patients, and interpreters can be brought in if language problems present themselves.
Before or after treatment, visitors can enjoy something of the country's wealth of cultural attractions although sightseeing might not necessarily be the best activity for some patients, depending on the treatment they have received and the doctor's recommendations for recuperation.
